Mining

Our team assists clients in several legal and tax issues arising from mining activities in Brazil.

We provide legal services for the development of mining projects throughout Brazil. More recently, we have been involved in the acquisition of land and real estate for the development of mining projects.

Our services include legal assistance in securing mining rights and in the review of legal aspects of the exploration, operation, production, processing, transportation and marketing stages. We assist clients in negotiating mineral supply and exportation agreements, joint ventures and merger & acquisition transactions.

We also advise clients on negotiations with the National Department of Mineral Production (Departamento Nacional de Produção Mineral - DNPM) in connection with mining activities.
