Schmidt Valois is a member of the OneLegal platform. As a result, we become the first Brazilian law firm to join the network, which aims to facilitate the connection among law firms in members of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), such as Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Timor-Leste, Cape Verde, Sao Tome and Principe, and now Brazil.

Our participation in OneLegal will allow our firm to strengthen its presence in CPLP markets as an internationally oriented law firm. This platform also enhances our firm’s ability to support clients in international projects and operations involving countries within the platform.

OneLegal was launched in 2022 by the Portuguese-Angolan lawyer Rui Amendoeira, an expert in Africa’s oil and gas sectors.
